Noosa, an Australian holiday

It was in the late 1980's, and I was 12. I can remember the earthy scent of eucalyptus, and feel the warm sunlit paths of the Noosa National Park as I walked around to Alexandria Bay .

The memory of cooling down by sliding into the deep blue water just before the Devil's Kitchen headland and feasting on natural oysters has become a catalyst behind a driving force to return to Noosa every year since.

Back then, the village of Noosa Heads , a five-minute walk from the entrance to the National Park , was a jumble of ordinary vacation units, a campground and shops. It was no different to many other Australian coastal towns.

Noosa was always going to be distinguished by its remarkable setting. The holiday accommodation strip is almost completely surrounded by water. In the early days, I am told the only way of reaching the beach was by riverboat along the stunning Noosa River.

Noosa's main beach is north facing, protected from southerly winds by a rocky headland with scatterings of rain forest throughout. The sun filled enclave known as Hastings Street has always been a buzz of happy tourists with an air of an almost sublime, tropical relaxation center where interesting and successful people take time out from their busy lives.

Once such interesting person who became successful for setting his focus on changed his life after being inspired by my website is a guy who goes by the name of Nomis.

If you want to be inspired I urge you to visit a chapter in his life changing story about how he built a money making website inspired by a visit to Noosa that has since lead him calling Noosa home. Its a website about bargain-holidays .

Holidays in Australia

Noosa | noosa accommodation | holiday accommodation noosa:

"I hope to visit Australia this winter, and I hope that it will not be the last time. I would like to think that I will take many holidays in Australia in my life time, but I know that this might not be something that I can do very often. However, I will go when I can as I have friends there, and it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t get to spend some time with them every few years.

Besides, I think there is a lot my daughter can learn when we visit there, and I hope to take her with me when I go. The best thing about holidays in Australia is that you can go when the weather in the UK is bad, and it will be the middle of summer there. Not only that, but there are many great beaches there, and everyone is so wonderfully nice.

Though I am sure there are exceptions, it would seem that a majority of those who live in Australia are easy going and fun to be around. Though you can’t always take long vacations, I want to make my holidays in Australia long because I won’t get to go very often.

My favorite location on earth is a small seaside town north of Brisbane called Noosa.

Noosa has got to be the place GOD designed for him to retire to. Noosa has everything, amazing beaches, climate sophistication, adventure and relaxation all wrapped up in the one lifestyle."
